MadDogs Fun Run XXII, Lawrence, 2 Jan 10

No set distance. Instead, a 15- to 20-minute run east on the levee, then returning to the start. Nasty conditions: about 5 degrees, 15 to 20 mph east wind, lots of packed ice that made for poor footing. Participants: Karl Brooks, Mike Ettredge, Doug Kieweg, Marcia Powers, Dick Lipsey, Charlie Shelton. Jim Orr, Ed Payne, and Fred Van Vleck also made special guest appearances. Charlie Shelton won the drawing for a bottle of 2006 MadDogs wine.
